About Sophie

My Story ….

Having spent years in all aspects of hospitality I was not satisfied with life!

I felt wasn’t achieving anything but adored serving people and making them happy!

Having endured the industry for years it took it’s toll on my mental health and after a particularly bad spell (losing job, drivers license, boyfriend, dignity!) I looked towards creativity and found floristry.

I never really considered myself a creative until I found flowers, then my long lost love felt they walked through the preverbal door!

12 years later & 10 years of having my own shops, I feel really lucky to still thrive in this industry.

I’m married to Richard, we have two small children, 6 chickens, Squirrel the Spaniel, Badger the Sausage and somewhat feral cat! We love our regular weekend get aways to Norfolk, as well as wine tasting and cooking with friends. 

Our time together as a family is so important to me… working in floristry hasn’t always given me that.  But it does now.

And today I am a proud champion for all aspects of the floral industry, I am pursuing my ambition to help others and in doing it has given me the freedom I need to live my life.

I get the niggles of small business, I understand it's a tough but joyous career, I am obsessed with flowers and how they make others feel too.... so get in touch, let's talk.
